Staying home alone on a Friday...flat on the floor looking back on old love or lack thereof. After all the crushes are faded and all my wishful thinking was wrong -- I'm jaded. I hate it. I'm tired of being alone...so hurry up and get here. So tired of being alone...so hurry up and get here.

Searching all my days just to find you. I'm not sure who I'm looking for. I'll know it when I see you. Until then, I'll hide in my bedroom staying up all night just to write a love song for no one. I'm tired of being alone...so hurry up and get here. So tired of being alone...so hurry up and get here.

I could have met you in a sandbox. I could have passed you on the sidewalk.
Could I have missed my chance and watched you walk away?

I'm tired of being alone...so hurry up and get here
So tired of being alone...so hurry up and get here

You'll be so good...you'll be so good for me

I'm afraid I'm starting to feel...what I said I would not do -- the last time really hurt me. I'm scared to fall in love, afraid to love so fast cuz everytime I fall in love it seems to never last. But every time your love is near and every time I'm filled with fear cuz every time I see your face -- my heart does begin to race everytime. One half wants me to go, one half wants me to stay -- I just get so all confused. I'm scared to fall in love, afraid to love so fast cuz everytime I fall in love it seems to never last. It's everytime. It's everytime cuz everytime your love is near and every time I'm filled with fear cuz every time I see your face: Could it be that this will be the one that lasts?

The fear does start to erase every time.

Oh could it be that this will be the one that lasts...
...for all my times

from my cousin...please read:
Sponsor Me For Walk & Roll Chicago!
I have signed up to participate in the American Cancer Society Walk & Roll Chicago and am biking 15 miles to help support this worthy cause.

No one ever thinks cancer can happen to them or their family. As you know, cancer is blind to age and health and can come to anyone, as it did this last year for my uncle, Albert Leynes, just one of the many people I am biking for. He is recovering, but it would have been impossible without the legacy of research and funding established by the American Cancer Society, which has raised billions to eliminate cancer and the suffering it causes.

I have committed to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and would appreciate it if you could sponsor me in this great endeavor.

Thank you for considering sponsoring me as I join the fight against cancer as a Walk & Roll Chicago participant.

I took my love and I took it down
Climbed a mountain then I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky...What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I built my life around you
But time makes you bolder...children get older
I'm getting older too

So, take this love and take it down
Yeah, and if you climb a mountain and ya turn around
And If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide brought me down

If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well maybe ...
Well maybe ...
Well maybe ...
The landslide will bring you down.

from Sharon..."Farmer's Donkey"
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come cover up and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quited down.

A few shovels loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well, and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbow continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!

Lesson:
Life is going to shovel dirt of you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. we can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!

Remember the 5 simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

Conclusion:
The donkey later came back and kicked the heck out of the farmer that tried to bury him. So remember, what goes around, comes around!
