last sunday, my dad and i sang happy mother's day to my mom. since we were upstairs, we decided to sit in my brother's old bedroom and open her presents in there. they were probably wondering why i was so adamant on doing that. but yeah. it was nice. i wish i/we weren't growing up so fast.

Game One: L 6-18 vs ACEs
started left center.
batted 4th; walked, single, single, RBI.

led 6-0 for 3.5 innings then gave up 14 runs in one at bat. havoc ladies played tough d and had great hits. ACEs are an excellent team where their ladies have 20+ years of experience under their belt. great 1st game but lots of room for improvement.

i got the hint...even though your mouth is shut, i hear what you are saying -- loud and clear. i am so mentally tired right now that anything not directly related to work is just a waste of my time.

works kicking my butt but i truly, truly love what im doing right now. i dig the working through lunch, ordering dinner, expensing cab rides home, troubleshooting an issue with teammates, finally getting the config right so that the calc works, etc. this project is amazing and its going to be one hell of a critical experience to have under my imaginary belt.
