everything happens in 3's

1) chris asked me to go down to school last weekend but i said "no".
2) terry asked me to lunch saturday but i said "yea...no".
3) ian asked me to go to a hookah bar and get some beers tonight but can you guess what i said? "argh, i cant".

ive tried my hardest to never turn down my friends but since last friday, i have. 3 times.
im either working late or out with my realtor. im not one to complain but i needed to write this down in case it led to finding out why im not so uber happy right now. if you think im bitching about nothing, sit on your thumb and spin. this is my blog and you dont have to read it. the only rule that reigns in my blogspot is that i can write whatever i please. back to my current rambling...i enjoy what i do; i dont mind working late; its a daily challenge and i love leaving work every day learning something new. i have a strong feeling that its the fact that 2 out of the above 3 guys are friends that i rarely get to spend time with. and for me to say "no" just blows. i pray that it'll never get to a point where they'll stop asking. i do admit that i have a recent track record of opting out on things -- i already have plans or am at work. im going to safely assume that my friends understand and i just need a twix bar right now.
