barack obama...

so i get home from work.
2 police cars and 2 black tinted suvs are in front of my building.
in the main lobby, there are men in suits who look like secret service.
i get my mail and i ask my neighbor "whats going on?".
we go to the parking garage and she tells me that barack obama is in the building.
barack is attending a benefit at a 5th floor unit.
i go through the security door and another guy in a suit greets me.
i get up to my unit and call my brother and my chris'.
so i head out and walk slowly through the lobby again and towards the parking garage.
i call home and keep an eye out for him.
i walk around a little and head back.
im in front of harpo studios with other onlookers and he walks out.
i get a glimpse of his head and hes seated in the back of one of the suvs.
id say it was pretty cool.
i did meet him at work twice a couple years back.
but yeah, that was a cool moment that i thought id share.

i lift up the first cushion to clean and i find 35 cents!
i dont know what came over me but i was so exited.
im on the last cushion and my kurv dies.
i think its time to upgrade to a normal size vacuum.

after a long wait in line at comcast...
after being on hold for 9 minutes and the tech rep couldn't hear me...
after being on hold for 32 minutes and the tech rep dicked around with me...
after being on hold for 27 minutes and the tech rep put in my work order while i was waiting...

there it was, channel 174 in hd...
hotter than hot, geovany soto...stepping up to the plate. sigh.
i can even rewind it and watch him step up to the plate.

i have so many channels now that i dont know what to do with myself.
if you know me, i dont like having too many options.

breaking out of the break room...

i need my coffee.
im walking towards the break room.
a woman turns the corner down the hall.
now shes walking towards me.
shes wearing skin tight hipster pants.
oh...my...lord!!!
shes got massive camel toe.
i feel bad for her.
'bad' in the sense that she probably forgot to a) look in the mirror or b) wear a long enough top to cover her frontal region.
im putting coffeemate and equal in my coffee.
shes next to be using the microwave to nuke her oatmeal.
i start to shiver knowing its right next to me.
i feel victimized by her style.
i rush to stir my perfect cup of coffee.
i break free...

working for the past few weeks until the wee-wee hours of the night has finally caught up. we've got a 4-day weekend and i'm going to spend the first night catching up on sleep. what great timing. lots to do this weekend. come tuesday when its back to the pressures of deadlines, ill be refreshed. if not, caffeine and milk will do my body good.

ive been working on this calculation since this morning and finally just got it to work.
i reviewed the logic before technically configuring it.
i knew it wasnt simple but who knew it was this difficult.
its time to head home soon.

and do this again tomorrow.
two more calculations left.

...its official, my brother, my sister-in-law and gus are moving!!!
thats what the big news was at their party
its bittersweet but im genuinely happy for them.

i cant wait to go there and step into the map. :)
